Can you please show us your sketch book. I would love to see how you solve problems like character designs and settings
Delightful video. I would definitely like to see more of these in the future. Your art and storytelling were a considerable influence on my decision to return to school and pursue an illustration degree; I also have a fondness for sculpture and miniature set design. To see how you have brought these creative facets together to facilitate a common goal is inspiring to say the least.
I already said it on twitter. But, this is great!
Loved the video!! Gave me some great ideas to do in the classroom.
Wow I loved the video. It's great to see all the models and how much hard work you put into these books.
P.S.
I want that Right Hand of Doom
Great video!
I just wish i had this level of crafting skills, so i could make some awsome RPG props!
This is an awesome idea! It was really cool to see places from the books in a real life model! You should definatly do something like this again and maybe show how to draw some of the characters (I remember you had a how to draw Lieam one along time ago). Another idea is planned ustreams. Not one every week, but maybe a few days in advace, you could say when you might do one? I unfortunatly, always seem to miss them. Thanks for all you do! DAB
Any tips on where I can find a B&W Winter? Amazon keeps canceling it on me. Also I can't wait for the box set!
Fan of the hardcover collections here. Just stopped in to say these making-of documentaries are the kind of thing that causes me to seek out and buy the individual books from my LCS, rather than just downloading a cbr. Brilliant work.
Very instructional! I'm finding myself anxious to begin my own model constructions to help bring my creations to life in the way these make Mouse Guard feel like a true, breathing world.
